Make your bathroom trips shorter!
by Roxanna Ward

Tips to keep your bathroom cleaning time short and to the point.
Cleaning the bathroom has to be one of the worst jobs a person can have. It is yucky and un appreciated. Not to mention that as soon as you are finished cleaning it, somebody comes along and messes it up again. Here are a few tips that will hopefully ease that job, and get you out of the bathroom faster!

Clean your bathroom everyday. If you get into the routine of doing this, it will only take you minutes a day to keep it clean and not hours a week. Take a minute each morning to wipe down the counter and wipe the mirror clean. VBefore you go to bed drop some vinegar into the toilet bowl and let it soak overnight, simply flush away the dirt in the morning. Then once a month, spend about 30 minutes in the bathroom doing some deeper cleaning.

The only tools you will need to do this room are: a spray bottle filled with water and vinegar, a white sponge, and two cleaning cloths. You can use the washcloth you used for your face that morning to wipe down the counter and other surfaces. Less laundry for you! And less laundry is always good!!

Use a disinfectant in the bathroom and shower area to discourage the growth of mildew. If it doesn't grow, you don't have to clean it!! If it dose appear, then use a little bleach to kill the mildew, then a little disinfectant to keep it from coming back. I know these are the little things that keep you awake at night!

Don't forget your doorknobs. This is the most unsanitary item in your household. Just thinking about what might be on that knob is a nightmare. Spray the knob with a disinfectant and wipe down. Or use a rag with a little antibacterial soap on it!!

Hopefully these little tips can help you shorten your trips to the bathroom.
